I arrange narrative spaces and create visual concepts.

I like storytelling and I have a thing for piles of sand. Thinking they can also tell stories, I find myself talking to sand, rubble and their grandmothers, the rocks.

I get very excited about historical things and their traces in contemporary spaces. Currently I am sniffing around archives for circus- entertainment- and performance history in Berlin - digging through sediments of colonialism, industrialisation and moralistic definitions of art.

I have developed excelent soft skills for the performing arts: I like listening to people. I easily get inspiration from collective moments - things said and done, from odd imagery and imagination. I work with matter, materials, textures and texts. I love weaving a thought further, translating it into spatial set ups, costumes or other visual formats. I get excited about developing thoughts and ideas together…

…which is what I have been doing with Julia Wissert, Mirjam Hildbrand, Renata Gaspar, Franziska Autzen, Simone Dede Ayivi, Frl. Wunder AG, Kaleni Kolectiv, machinaeX

… at Schauspiel Hannover, Schauspiel Dortmund, HAU Berlin, Sophiensaele Berlin, Tak Berlin, Luzerner Theater, Bollwerk Belluard Festival Fribourg, National Theatre Brno, FFT Düsseldorf, Mousonturm Frankfurt, National Theatre Namibia, Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen and Schauspiel Leipzig.

I grew up in Germany, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Berlin is my home.
I studied Scenography in Hannover, Regional Studies and Philosophy in Berlin and Performance Studies in Arts and Media in Hildesheim.
